2011

I will be showing at Art London this weekend which runs from Thursday 6th - Monday 10th October. My work will be with The Art Movement on stand 17 a the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, SW6.

So after a difficult  few months of illness in between exhibitions, I finally made it to Kenya where I stayed again at Sosian in Laikipia. As with last time, it was amazing. I actually saw the lions this time although the wild dogs were a bit elusive due to a pack of males having returned to the area. What was nice to see was so many elephants. We spent half an hour watching them by the riverside.

Last year I was asked to design an elephant for the Elephant Parade which took place around London last summer. Being a wildlife artist, I chose to paint it as a tiger which is an animal I personally sponsor. My nephew chose to call it Tigerphant! It was later sold at auction and raised £14,000 for the Elephant Family.

I have just donated  the painting "Open Wide" to Tusk Trust which has been featured in Sir Timothy Ackroyd’s new book "Ackroyd's Ark Two" and will be sold at their forthcoming auction at Christies on Monday 20th September.

Snow Leopard Vodka will be sponsoring the private view of my solo show. They are involved with the  conservation of the Snow Leopard by donating 15% of all their sales to the Snow Leopard Trust. In return, 15% of my painting "Solitude" will be donated to the Snow Leopard Trust.

I was also asked to design a lion for the Pride of Lions in Northampton. See it in the news by clicking here.
